Kerr û Kulik is a heroic destan of two brothers whose courage and fate have been sung across the Kurmancî-speaking lands for generations. Like the other great epics it exists as a family of sung episodes rather than a single text: each dengbêj shapes the brothers’ story, their feats and their deaths, according to his region and his audience.
